We aim to keep our refund process clear, simple and fair. Please read the information below before attending your test.

When Can I Request a Refund?

You can request a full refund at any time before taking your test at the laboratory.

This means a refund can be requested before you attend Patient Reception and before your sample is collected.

Before Your Test

A full refund can be requested before your laboratory test has been completed.

After Sample Collection

Once your sample has been given, the laboratory process has started and no refund is possible.

How Long Does a Refund Take?

Once we initiate your refund, our payment provider Stripe submits the refund request to your bank or card issuer.

Refunds usually appear as a credit approximately 5-10 business days later.

The exact time depends on your bank or card provider.

Important

When Refunds Are Not Possible

Once you have attended Patient Reception at The Doctors Laboratory and provided your sample, no refund is possible. For postal tests, no refund is possible once your sample has arrived at The Doctors Laboratory.
